KATANA 30's anniversary in Japan

On 11 March 2011, the world watched in horror as a huge 9.1 magnitude earthquake and massive tsunami struck the Tohoku (north eastern) region of Japan. But now, almost five months since the terrible disaster occurred, in many of the disaster-hit areas, the clean-up is well advanced, and rebuilding has already commenced in debris-cleared areas. Many evacuees are being accommodated in temporary housing while dwellings are cleared, cleaned and repaired, or entirely new dwellings are built. The demand is enormous, but we are working hard to provide new, permanent houses as quickly as we can.

Now, we would like to announce that planning to have a meeting on Oct. 16, concerned with the KATANA 30's anniversary.
It is scheduled to begin at 09:30, with a tour of SUZUKI PLAZA. http://www.suzuki-rekishikan.jp/english/index.html

We be thrilled, that the rebuilding of the region goes as soon as possible forward. Hope your member directly out of the centrum of the terrible diseaster is well also. Good fortune and properity specially for all the families and friends of Tohoku.

The event for the 30’s anniversary of Suzuki Katana sounds very interesting. It is a little bit far away to visit – will be difficult for realisation for us … so please send some picture from the happening (and I think you will present some video by youtube *smile*)

Over 50 KOC Japan members will join the 30's, Tani-san and Yokouchi-san contracted Target Design in search of a style for Europe will also with us.
Friends from oversea, Australia and France will join the meet.

90 friends or more participated.
The event was grand and succeeded.
